ODIHR held a seminar in Lviv

LVIV, 10 June 2004 - The Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) held a seminar in Lviv on June 10 and 11. The focus of the round table was the implementation of the law “On Freedom of Movement and Freedom for Choosing a Place of Residence,” which was adopted at the beginning of this year.

Representatives from Belarus, Poland, and Lithuania shared their experiences on the registration of citizens. In addition, Member of Parliament, Yuriy Kluchkovskiy, discussed voter registration. Representatives from the Presidential Administration, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Interior as well as the heads of Oblast departments responsible for voter registration were present at the meeting.
