The High Level Working Group (HLWG):

Tasks:

• Provides a link between all of the information sharing networks and Ukrainian authorities.
• Works as a clearinghouse to discuss election related matters on a level where the results of the meetings would have a chance to have some significance on the election process.

Structure:

• Members include representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ukraine, The Central Election Commission of Ukraine, The Ombudsman’s Office for Human Rights in Ukraine, as well as the international community.
• To date four HLWG meetings have been held. The last one took place on June 24, 2004.
