National Project Officer

 Administrative Law and Legal Education Unit

Tasks:

 • Implementation and administration of the projects in the area of administrative law, administrative justice, human rights awareness and legal education, in particular:

 drafting of project proposals in line with the initiatives and decisions of the supervisor;

 coordination and administration of the project activities: training, seminars, publication processes, working group meetings;

 quality control of the project outputs: publications, expert reports, awareness materials etc.;

• Project budgeting and monitoring of the project funds;

 • Drafting RFQs (Request for Quotations), tender documents, ToRs (Terms of References) for consultants;

• Preparation and review of narrative and financial reports;

 • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

 • University degree in law or in other relevant area;

 • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the area of public law, or human rights in Eastern European Countries / the CIS;

 • Experience in project implementation;

 • Experience in drafting reports and ability to work with government officials and institutions;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and in Ukrainian;

• Good organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills;

 • Excellent Computer skills (Word, XP, Excel, Access, Novell GroupWise);

• Knowledge of international ERP systems as Oracle, SAP or People’s Soft is preferable;

• Ability to work with people of different nationalities, religions and cultural backgrounds.
